I’ve joined a mastermind group.
No, we’re not planning on taking over the world.
No, we don’t think that we are the masters of our minds (or yours).
No, to just everything negative you’re thinking….
just no.
What’s a mastermind group? This is what it is for us…
Myself and four other people get together every two weeks for two hours and talk about one project that we’re working on. It has to be the same project every time, until we’ve finished it. Mine is on-going for now. It’s this blog.
Each person has a designated amount of time to discuss their project and then get feedback from the others. We talk about our fears and challenges, and the solutions on how to successfully get our projects where we want them to be.
We set weekly personal project goals that we need to fulfil by our next meeting. We check up on each other. We talk a lot. If we dont meet our goals we give $10 to a new Start-up company (we haven’t chosen which one yet).
We share everything online via a collaboration program. This way we can all access each other’s work and give feedback and see the progress. I’ll also be tracking my own progress on this blog.
Why I am telling you this? Because this blog is going to be my project. So, this is just the beginning of what is to come for bullshit not included. I’m not going to out right tell you what I have in mind, but it’s going to get interesting. You might love it, you might not understand, you might not give a shit. But, this is going to be my project (amongst another I have floating in the back on my head).
I’m also sharing this with you because it’s a great idea for me to plant in your head. Start your own project or finish one that you’ve been working on. Get a group together. Get people from different backgrounds, different projects and create your own mastermind group.
